Phoenix Hoops was born out of a desire to turn tragedy into triumph, in loving memory of Ephraim Brown. Ephraim was more than just a name to us; he was a young life brimming with potential, tragically lost as an innocent bystander to gun violence in the Jane and Sheppard community he called home. His memory lives on through Phoenix Hoops, where we channel our grief into creating positive opportunities for youth in our community. Ephraim’s legacy drives us to provide a platform where young athletes can rise above their circumstances, find their passion, and compete at their highest level, all within a supportive and uplifting environment.
